Get Honest With Honestli: Win $50 Itunes Or Google Play Gift Card

I pride myself on bringing you the most honest and snarky reviews on life, products, events, apps and more. So, when Honestli contacted MOI with their new anonymous community giving people a forum to honestly express themselves via their app, I was intrigued. This is NOT a place for bullies, just honest expression and I love that. Each member can share their thoughts, opinions, vent on everyday life, and even confess their innermost desires or embarrassing mistakes! Honestli contacted the right blog to get the word out. Have you read my twitter rants before? I always say that you have to make fun of yourself and the world around you. Life is too short not to express yourself snarkily and “honestli” right?

Follow me. Imagine a place where you can go and share whatever you are thinking with like minded and honest individuals. Maybe a place built to share your thoughts that might not be so popular with some. A place where people who don’t have another mouthpiece (blog) to shout out whatever is on their mind? Well, it exists in the form of an app called Honestli. Curious? I was too!

For example, I love having a place to share my true feelings about the Kardashians and the fact that I could care less about them or what they do on a daily basis. Like I don’t care about the perfect 10 steps some dating coach wrote in a blog claiming to secure a second date because those posts lists are bullshit. There is no guarantee on anything in life so when anyone promises you something soley on following a few simple steps, beware! Honestli is a place where you can feel comfortable talking about everything ranging from politics, work, life, entertainment and more without fear of internet trolls attacking you on your personal facebook or twitter account.

Talking about Facebook! Let me tell you how I really feel about the damage the new algorithm is doing to small businesses. Nah – I will save that for my Honestli post.

Just download the app, sign in with a new account (or via facebook/twitter), create an anonymous name like “Bambi” (the name I give guys when they are creepers), choose an image like a bulldog because they don’t take any snark and have love to bark. Each member can create a unique, anonymous, identity so be creative people! It’s fun and you can let out everything you have been holding in your entire life or just something that really bugged you one day. I think this app would be especially fun for the people who are intimidated by twitter or don’t want to post these types of things on their facebook page because their children’s, friend’s parents may have super liberal political views or just have no idea who the Kardashians even are. Don’t worry. Honestli gives you the freedom to express your opinion without judgment from friends, neighbors, and haters.

Download this app and let that truth fly! Come on it is fun. Sometimes the truth hurts but it should be told and why not have an app for that?

Another cool feature is that there are categories where you can choose to see and share only the topics you want. This means you can ignore trash and trolls!! One of my favorite categories on the app is called “vent” and I think that is super snarky.

Here are some examples for the “vent” category to get your creative juices flowing!

You can talk about what hair products left your hair flatter than your chest in 5thgrade.

Or what energy bar tasted like a chunk of Styrofoam dipped in Splenda, sweet fake chocolate. Want to talk about the nightmare evening you had one night when a bouncer at a club thought his shit did not stink. How about that annoying person smacking their gum in line when you were waiting to pay for your Christmas gifts? The waiter who had his hair hanging over his eyes while serving your food? GROSS! Maybe that bitch at the furniture store that got upset with you when you told her you bought your new desk at another furniture store? Or my favorite, the frienemy that talks behind your back but is nice to your face? But, the worst of them all is that groomer who shaved your Havanese and someone asked if he was a poodle? That was the worst 3 weeks of Teddy Brewski’s life. Cool! I want to know it all!

Plus, you can upload images to the app demonstrating what you are “venting” and you know everyone loves pictures. The community also has smiley faces and frowns along with a comments section so you can interact. After all, it is social media people, so lets get social. Follow your favorite members and hide the people you don’t care for! DONE AND DONE!

As if finding a community where you can anonymously share whatever your little heart desires without bullying or Internet troll threats was not cool enough, there is more! Honestli wants you to download the app from the above links and let them know what you like about it or what could be improved upon AND they are giving away free stuff you want.

Just download the app and leave a comment on my blog about your experience with Honestly before January 7, 2015 to win a $50 gift card to iTunes or Google Play. YAY!
